The Revere Police would like to welcome you, the Revere Home Owner, to your informational page. As home owners in the city, you have a responsibility to maintain your property throughout the year, and this page will allow you to educate yourself about those responsibilities.

  • Know what day your trash pick up is, and do not place your trash cans out until the evening before
  • During the winter months, you must maintain the sidewalk in front of your home. This includes, but is not limited to, de-icing the walkway as well as shoveling a path after a snowstorm
  • Have the number of your home clearly visible from the street, so that, in the event of an emergency, Police and/or Medical Personnel can easily locate your home
  • Only one unregistered vehicle is allowed on your property.
  • Please utilize your driveway if you have one, as this will eliminate parking problems on congested streets

Chief Reardon Warns of GPS Thefts

Posted 1/10/2008 9:56 am by Revere Police

Chief Terence Reardon is reminding all residents to lock their vehicles when exiting.  There has been a rash of thefts involving GPS and other electronic devices (such as satelite radios).

The Chief states this seems to be a crime of opportunity, when a person walks by a vehicle with an electronic cradle on the windshield and an unlocked door.

It only takes a matter of seconds, so even if you are only running into a store for a minute, take that device with you, don't leave it in plain view or in the glove compartment.  It may save you hundreds of dollars!
